Volunteer

We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities. Please review the list below. 

• Cleaning feed bowls & Feeding the animals - Daily opportunity and YES you can bring a friend (2 hours)
• Cleaning the horse and donkey stall - daily opportunity (20 minutes)
• Landscaping (planting, weed whacking, grass cutting and chain sawing) - as needed
• Light carpentry work - during repairs and aviary construction as needed
• Washing and combing the horse - once a week opportunity
• Pressure washing cages - once a month opportunity (2 hours)
• Cleaning inside lanai aviary floor & changing cage papers - daily opportunity (90 minutes)
• Light repair work like hanging new boards on fence, screwing perches back into place, hanging new toys. - as needed
• Attend community events to help set up/tear down and answer questions from visitors
• Cleaning and refill all water troughs on the property - daily (one hour)
• Helping to tarp all aviaries during extreme cold weather and hurricane preparation - as needed
• Social Media volunteer willing to post on a regular basis.
